Dr. Robotnik (Eggman)
Sonic the Hedgehog

Evil Factor: Lunatic, treacherous
Insanity: Obsessed with building an empire, in many names of his machines the word Egg tends to appear often, sometimes says eggcelent instead of excellent (I used to watch the TV show in my early childhood)
Powers: I.Q. of about 300, mechanical genius, beyond super genius level of intelligence, can build large machines in mere minutes, hours, and if it is really big, days, depends on the machine he is piloting
Occupation: Wannabe dictator

Description: If there is a Sonic the Hedgehog game, chances are this madman is the main villain or is a boss at some point, but very rarely does he make a cameo at the very least. There are so many descriptions that can be said about this lunatic and one of them would be tall, egg shaped, big mustached madman. Sonic once slapped Dr. Robotnik with a new nickname, Eggman, and his friends sort of went along with it, and they called him that so many times he gave up and just started calling himself Eggman. As good of a villain the original Eggman was, the modern Eggman taught us a valuable lesson of how a villain should never age, he has changed a lot, and as one person on YouTube put it, immature and annoying but in Sonic Adventure he has shown to be extremely chaotic, trying numerous times to destroy a population whether it be by explosives, giant kaiju resembling Biolante, or use a giant cannon to destroy an entire country. I never knew how fucking annoying the phrase "You know what they say the more the merrier!" especially when he said it with each attack while using this one robot in Shadow the Hedgehog. I do however like some of his robot designs, but most of them have idiotic purposes such as the Death Egg Robot
I was rather impressed by the design - minus the mustache, 'teeth', nose, and it probably would have looked better with a glass dome on top however the stupidity is that this machine is a war machine - not something that is meant to capture Sonic, given its girth it can be assumed that speed is its greatest flaw. Now if this thing was in real life it could probably level a few houses before the police showed up but Eggman built this thing to capture a hedgehog not as a device for domination. Humorously in Sonic Generations, on hard mode I was able to literally beat the first phase with my eyes closed. For a super genius he sure didn't think this design through. May I also point out that this robot proves that Eggman is so full of himself, building robots in his likeness... that is just conceited. Now if he added chain guns to those 'hands' then it would be good for modern warfare. Also I admit to never actually beating Sonic 2, I came close though but I just couldn't remember the pattern that the Robot Sonic followed, costing me lives, weakening me for this, being a noob to the fight I had no idea on his weakness and I died, feel free to make fun of this fact but afterwards I went to YouTube to see if I was doing anything wrong, well apparently I was doing everything right, it is just that I was being to impatient to beat him. Which brings us to the Egg Dragoon, another machine that I love the design of

Now this is a weapon, but he was just idiotic when using it in both Unleashed and in Generations. I certainly would have used it in a different way if I was him. Unlike the Death Egg Robot and Perfect Chaos in Generations, the Dragoon is actually the only boss that did get harder on hard mode. I also like the song too. The machine was armed with a gun that shot fire beams, a drill like missile, and ice manipulation. Worst of all Eggman attacked in a pattern when flying this thing in Generations which helped me see the kind of stupidity that he doesn't realize he has, speaking of stupidity, he often overlooks vital parts of his plans.

Now back in the old Sonic games, there was no voice acting in the slightest hell I don't even think the game tells you the story, however it was very easy to piece it together. Evil robots want to kill blue hedgehog and he can smash them by jumping at them. Clear zones by passing by signs with some picture of a creepy guy with a mustache on them. At the end of the third act bald guy with mustache flies in with hovercraft with wrecking ball attached, this must be bad guy, beat bad guy by jumping at him while dodging shit. Then you jump on top of device containing animals to clear act 3. Then you see that he is abducting forest animals for some evil plot, and that is pretty much it. All that you needed to know that some crackpot scientist guy was making robots powered by forest critters (through a science that makes as much sense as wild penguins forging alliances with Genghis Khan in order to prevent the philosopher Aristotle from taking over the world with a device that grants him control over a legion of beavers). However you have to give him credit for thinking big, first he wanted lands, then the world, then the universe, and time and space itself. He has built war machines and used nuclear devices in order to threaten entire nations, and even using  mythological deities to further his schemes such as Chaos. Impressively though, every time he should have died, he always weasels out at the very last second only to terrorize the world once more. There is just far too much that I can say about Eggman so rather than continuing this post, I will set a link to a wiki if anyone desires more information about this guy. http://sonic.wikia.com/wiki/Doctor_Eggman. Most of the time he disregards all forms of life, including himself, as he is not afraid of being caught by crossfire. Please note that I do not know every little detail about Eggman, however the link above has much information about him.

Trivia:
Mario is the opposite to Sonic, same for Eggman and Bowser.
For one Mario is a human and Sonic is a anthromorphic animal
Eggman is a human like Mario and both have mustaches
Bowser is a anthromorphic animal like Sonic
Eggman and Bowser both have opposite intelligences
In very early development Eggman was even considered to be the hero of the franchise
Robotnik is Slavic for Slave or worker
Eggman was actually originally based on President Theodore Roosevelt, albeit a very fat one, Sonic has the personality of Bill Clinton
