Ripto
Original Spyro series
Evil Factor: Racist, bent on domination, very vengeful
Insanity Factor: Will stop at nothing to kill a dragon, repeatedly returns for a ass-whooping
Powers: Magic
Occupation: Dictator, Evil Wizard

Description: Ripto is the short, evil wizard of the original Spyro series with an absolute hatred of dragons. He is the self-proclaimed dictator of the realm of Avalar and will do anything possible to get rid of dragons, of which he can smell. He can be considered as the Arch-nemesis to Spyro, as he is the most recurring of any villain in the original series. He sends his two henchmen, Crush and Gulp to do most of his dirty work, but unfortunately for him they are just far too stupid to do anything right (especially Crush). One time he teamed up with Crash Bandicoot's arch-nemesis Neo Cortex in an effort to get the two to kill each other, however the plan backfired and the Crash/Spyro team foiled their plans. Ripto is a despicable madman who enjoys power simply for the sake of it. He delights in causing all sorts of trouble and havoc with his magic, and is known for his general disgust for Dragons. In truth, Ripto despised his small stature, and he took it out on the world to prove that his wrath was much bigger and scarier than his modest size suggested. Frustrated, short tempered and spiteful, Ripto pulled off deception and trouble that would suit a large, intimidating creature. One thing is for certain: he's an ill-tempered villain who despises being called short (this is displayed when Spyro called him "shorty"). In his appearance in Enter the Dragonfly, he murders Crush and Gulp very close to the beginning of the game when he realized his plan failed. According to the wiki, in the European version's manual they give the reason why he hates dragons so, when he was young he was bullied by dragons for being short and his inability to wield magic (he was a dinosaur), which explains why he hates dragons, and he aspired to prove them wrong by getting a scepter which would allow him to use magic. If Ripto did not have a Scepter, ultimately he would be defenseless entirely. Despite falling into lava after the last fight, he is shown to have survived in the epilogue. Despite being a recurring villain, he is shown to be able to hold his own against Spyro, more so than several other villains and bosses in the game series.
