Bowser, King of the Koopas
The Super Mario Franchise
Evil Factor: He is evil, but in a evilly persistent and harmless kind of way
Insanity Factor: Not actually insane, but is very irritable and ruthless
Powers: Spiked shell, fire breath, Giga Bowser form, seemingly indestructible, and unbelievable perseverance
Occupation: King of the Koopas

Description: If you never heard of Bowser, you've been living under a rock since the 1980's. Bowser isn't quite as evil as he is unbelievably persistent. Me and Dr. Evil decided to start off our list of villains with the King of Losers: King Bowser. For about 25 years now he has been kidnapping Princess Peach at every opportunity using his army of walking mushrooms and turtles. You fight him an uncountable amount of times and his perseverance makes his sanity questionable. Every time, he is beaten by a short Italian Plumber with an addiction for Mushrooms who then proceeds to rescue the princess. It's always a happy ending except for him. We don't think he is truly evil, kidnapping the princess is just his strange and misunderstood way of showing his affection for her. Don't agree with me? Play Super Mario Sunshine and you'll see that his son, Bowser Jr. who was instructed to also kidnap the princess, claims she is his mother. If that isn't a sign that he has a secret love for her, I don't know what is. Despite his frequent defeats, Bowser unfortunately never realizes that his misguided advances are unwanted. He may not be good at punching a cocky little plumber boy in the face but he has shown he is adept in sports such as baseball, tennis and especially golf. His arsenal seems to vary as he is seen with flying ships, a floating clown head and a giant robot of, guess what, himself. His attempts have become increasingly more and more ridiculous with him actually taking the princess off the planet and invading an island by challenging everyone to baseball for no apparent reason. In Super Smash Bros. Bowser's final smash allows him to become the invincible and frightening Giga Bowser. In the Mario and Luigi RPG's, Bowser's Inside Story more specifically, Bowser was a complete tool, he practically allowed himself to be manipulated by Fawful and 'Chippy'. Overall, we don't consider Bowser truly evil or insane, he is just highly persistent in getting rid of Mario and world domination and is a plain pain-in-the-ass but classic nuisance whose existence has become something of a joke.
